The McLean County Arts Council was incorporated in 1972 and served as a funding organization to local arts organizations through 1984. Its major responsibility was to obtain grants from the Illinois Arts Council for award to the member organizations, located primarily in Bloomington-Normal.
In addition to a few documents from the early years, the majority of the items describe the volunteer agency’s activities from 1979 to 1983.
