Marjorie Wood (1913-2008) was born in Melvin, IL and reared in rural Colfax. She wed Eugene Mayer in August 1968; he died in 1997. She died in 2008, aged 95.
As a young woman, she lived in Champaign, IL, before marrying. She worked at Taynor-Harris Aviation, the Wing & Wheel Restaurant, and the Ramada Inn as waitress and hostess for many years. She retired in 1974.
The collection includes a brief biography plus school report cards, certificates, diploma, scrapbook, etc.
