Futures in History: Curious Curators

Learn about museums from the professionals at the McLean County Museum of History! On day one, participants will get a behind the scenes look at our museum, collections, and galleries. On day two, participants will learn how to write an object label and create a display. The camp will finish with a very special Gallery Opening, designed by our campers and hosted at Hangar Art Gallery.

Curious Curators will take place Tuesday, July 23rd and Thursday, July 25th from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Registration is open to any area campers entering 5th, 6th, and 7th grades who are eager to explore the many futures a career in history can offer.

Futures in History Mini Camps each have a $75 registration fee. Households get a discounted price for each additional camper they register.

If your household income is less than $36,000 a year, your camper(s) will qualify for a scholarship to waive the registration fee.
