Futures in History: Adventurous Archaeologists

Come get your hands dirty and dig up some fun! During this Mini-Camp, participants will spend their first day learning about archaeology’s best practices and doing their own archaeological dig. On the second day, participants will learn how artifacts are studied after being found and how to find information within material culture.

Adventurous Archaeologists will take place Tuesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 18 from 8:30 AM to12:30 PM. Registration is open to any area campers entering 5th, 6th, and 7th grades who are eager to explore the many futures a career in history can offer.

Futures in History Mini Camps each have a $75 registration fee. Households get a discounted price for each additional camper they register.

If your household income is less than $36,000 a year, your camper(s) will qualify for a scholarship to waive the registration fee.
