Photo of the Week, 95: Roland's Christmas Party, 1958

A Christmas Eve get-together for employees of Roland's, a longtime locally owned department store on the north side of the Courthouse Square, took a decidedly wacky turn as three "reindeer" escorted none other than Santa himself around downtown Bloomington. A shotgun-toting Mrs. Claus follows behind, apparently suspicious of Mr. C. in the company of three attractive reindeer.
The reindeer (left to right) are Katie Moore, Barbara Bates, and Mary Kinsella. Mr. and Mrs. Claus are played by John Eiff, Roland's display manager, and his wife Muriel, a Roland's saleswoman.

Who was the woman who owned the Roland’s Dept. Store, Bloomington, IL during the early 1960s? I worked in the shoe dept. while at ISU.
