PROGRAM SCHEDULING INFORMATION
Cost
The Harriet Fuller Rust Education Endowment Fund underwrites admission
fees for all prearranged educational tours, and also for individual
students using the Museum's resources for class assignments.
Donations are always gratefully accepted!
Reservations
Advance reservations are required. Please call at least three
weeks in advance. October/November and April/May are our busiest times,
so planning ahead is essential.
Following your phone reservation, a letter confirming details will be
mailed to you. Please call us immediately with any corrections.
Tour Times
Tours are booked between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Programs generally run
90 minutes, but can be tailored to fit your schedule. Limited program
changes may be made with advance notice and time adjustments.
Chaperones
A minimum of one chaperone is required for every 10 students.
Chaperones are expected to help students with activities and must
assist with discipline. Chaperones should not bring additional children
to school programs.
Parking
Parking in front of the museum is limited to 90 minutes, and this is
strictly enforced by the city. If traveling by car, we suggest parking
in the Lincoln Parking Deck located on Front Street and Main, one block
south of the Museum. Cost is about $.65 per hour. Buses and school vans
may park in our parking zone on the north side of Washington Street for
the duration of the tour. Bus drivers are welcome to tour the Museum
while they wait.
