Native American Collection
The McLean County Museum of History offers access to a wide range of Native American objects. The collection includes pre-historic lithics and pottery fragments found locally and used in farming, hunting and food processing. Objects obtained through trade with early European settlers and made by Kickapoo and other Native Americans for use in daily life represent the historical period. In addition, the museum library and archives have excellent reference and source materials that aid in the understanding of these objects.
