Why Join?

There are many benefits to becoming a member of the McLean County Historical Society.  For example, members have the opportunity to explore the Museum’s exhibits and library without worrying about the cost of admission. 

Just as being a member of the Museum has benefits, the Museum benefits greatly from the time, experience, and support of its members.  Our members are a very valuable resource: in fact, they are our most valuable resource.  We rely on our members for the great majority of our annual operating budget because time and time again they have proven to be committed to furthering the historical narrative that interweaves all of those who have passed time in McLean County.
